THE LONDON HONG KONG BOAT FESTIVAL 2010
THE LONDON HONG KONG BOAT FESTIVAL 2010 is taking place on Sunday 27th June at the London Regatta Centre, Dockside Road, E16 2QT.The day will be full of colourful flags and sounds of rhythmic drumming from teams of competing dragon boats. A Dragon Boat Photo Competition is organised by the Singtao Newspaper on the day and the festival is raising money for five London Chinese community organisations.
Over 30 boats are expected to compete and anyone wishing to take part should visit http://www.lclc.co.uk/
The day starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm
The Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival is organised by the London Chinatown Lions Club, the London Chinatown Association and the Hong ong Executives Club. The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London is the principal sponsor.

POOJA SHAH has been nominated for the BEST ACRESS AWARD at the ROB KNOX FILM FESTIVAL 2010.
ROB KNOX was the young actor who appeared in HARRY POTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE and became the victom of Knife Crime in May 2008.
The Festival runs from the 1st of June to the 9th June with an awards night on the 9th June 2010 at Cineworld Bexleyheath.
"No Honour No Choice" has been selected for screening at the Awards night.
Pooja's other film, "Bride and Gloo" has also been selected for viewing at the Rob Knox Festival.
